
Background: It was a great idea whose time had come—an incredibly abundant natural resource fashioned into simple, elegant outdoor furniture without added formaldehyde or toxic finishes.
Challenge: Though the furnishings themselves were elegant and beautifully sustainable, the brand communication was underdeveloped and crude, creating a weak first impression and undermining the perceived value of the product. The original brand failed to evoke the critical emotional cues that drive this conscious consumer.
Solution: We re-named the brand and created a simple, elegant logo, incorporating the positive emotional touch points this brand embodied. Our visual and verbal development of the brand focused on the verdant, alluring bamboo forests where the materials are sourced, and told a story of people and standards that was magnetic in its appeal, and completely authentic. Our affordable exhibit graphics broadcast the drama and beauty inherent in the brand.
